This tour by private car/minivan shows the typical Dutch countryside of polders and little canals just outside Amsterdam You will be visiting the famous fishing villages of Volendam and Marken - on the coast of the former Zuiderzee (now called IJselmeer). With its wooden houses and locals wearing their colourful style traditional dress. On the way, we will stop at one of the very few cheese farms, where cheese is still made the traditional way. In summertime you can make a boattrip from Volendam to former Island of Marken.
